ACBVI offers comprehensive counseling services for individuals, groups, and families.

These counseling sessions are provided in a professional manner — and maintained in the strictest confidentiality — in order to help our clients adapt to the emotional and psychological challenges associated with vision loss.

ACBVI coordinates structured and goal oriented support groups, which help facilitate educational and social growth. The agency also provides individual and family counseling sessions in an effort to encourage more personal growth and development.

Through these counseling sessions, we can also help determine other services from which the individual might benefit. ACBVI is a leading referral source for the visually impaired and can direct clients to other community organizations who offer services that might facilitate our client's adaptation to vision loss.
