Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS) - Rehabilitation Instructor
Patty Arnold enjoys variety in life, so after getting her degree in Blind Rehabilitation from Western Michigan University in the mid 1980’s, she obtained certifications in Vision Rehabilitation Therapy, Low Vision Therapy, and Orientation and Mobility, as well as a certificate in Assistive Technology. Patty has been with ACBVI since 1993, and gets great satisfaction assisting and observing as her students explore their potential and reach their goals. In her spare time she enjoys spending time in the city parks and gardens, playing music with her friends, and doing Tai Chi or dancing for exercise and helping her husband of more than 20 years to take care of their furry family of kitties.
